Why do the Paleo Challenge?
For a while now I’ve been planning to go completely paleo to improve my race times and build strength/power. When I first made the move to partial paleo with Crossfit workouts, I dropped minutes off my 5K/10K race times and noticed big jumps in strength and post workout recovery. My goal is to use the Paleo challenge to run a sub 6 minute a mile 5K - I’m close currently and I know this will help me get there. Oh I want to shoot for that 350lbs Deadlift which is still 45lbs away.
When I saw Lisa, Georgia and Eric discussing the Paleo Challenge on my twitter feed, I kinda crashed their party. I love a challenge any day and I’m thrilled with the fact that the other 4 are going to keep me accountable. I’ve got obstacles along the way including trips to NYC and Vegas which will make things very interesting – Stay Tuned
